Our IBSEN partner the University of Cagliari would like to invite you to the 2nd Scientific School on Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technologies. The school will be hosted at the Technology Park of Sardinia in Pula, Italy (click here for travel information). It takes place from the 10th to 14th June 2019.
The school plans for a maximum of 30 attendees. Attendance is free, while travel and accommodation expenses are to be paid by participants. There are several affordable ccommodations in Pula or in Cagliari. The participants will be selected by the scientific committee on a CV best-match basis. The application deadline is 15th April. You will get notified by 30th April. The program includes an introdcution to blockchain technologies, different tutorials and labs, as well as keynotes.
Crypto economics is a new discipline born after the rise of virtual currencies and distributed ledger technologies and is rapidly developing in a unique intersection between computing, cryptography, law, economics, and game theory. The school aims at disseminating knowledge about the foundations and the applications of these technologies to researchers, PhD students, scholars and technologists in industry and academia, not excluding under- or new graduates with strong technical drive and a sufficient background.

The application period for the international Summer Term in 2019 organized by our IBSEN-partner South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) is now open until March 17th. The general theme of the studies will be Artificial Intelligence and Wellbeing Management. The two themes will be applied in different ways in each course.
The courses take place in two locations and will be three week modules. Each of them will award 5 ECTS. All the courses are tuition-free for the students from Xamk’s partner universities.
To apply, you will need a motivation letter in English and a copy of your passport or ID Card. Please note the courses are organized on two different Campuses, so please make sure to take that into account when selecting the courses. Click here to go directly to the application form.
Next year, the European Summer School on European Business and Culture takes place from May 13th to June 21st and is organized by the IBSEN partner Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
Two courses are offered, each worth 3 credit points: European Culture and Cross Cultural Management and European Politics and Business. There are also additional labs organized for learning other languages (French, Spanish, German) and to collaborate in small research projects, worth 2 credit points.
The European Summer School combines the unique opportunity to discover Europe with the chance to take an active part in a 6 week structured course at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld.
