In-class Startup Applications

  • Gain 304 Applied Innovation and Entrepreneurship, dedicated course for innovation and entrepreneurship practices
  • 400 Students attend each semester

Every student who need mentoring in soft or hard skills are being mentored with IUE lecturers in the related field

Creative Economy Research and Application Center

Academic and sectoral research and application for creative entrepreneurship & innovation support for all academic staff and students.

Startup Workshops

10 workshops every year only for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Prizes and Incentives

  • 3 of the student groups won “Bu Gençlikte İş Var” contest to be mentored with top tier Turkish business people
  • 4 of the students won Creative Business Cup Turkey 2020 finals and will be in Denmark to represent Turkey
    On aggregate they won 20 000 Euros of money prize
  • 3 grand hackathons organized every year with best founders and business people to match with students for mentoring and business development

Incubation and Acceleration Center

Students with ideas can apply for startup accelerator programs for free Students can startup their companies legally with the help of İzmir Bilimpark (Technopark with government incentives for tax and funding support)

Partnerships

Students can work on their business projects with the biggest NGOs in Izmir.  Izmir Chamber of Commerce, EGIAD (Agean Young Business Association), Shibumi International, EGIAD Angels…
