The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
of the University of Cagliari
CREA UniCa is the link between funders, stakeholders and groundbreaking ideas and projects developed inside the University of Cagliari. It creates a bridge between
students, researchers and entrepreneurs who act locally and globally.
CREA UniCa aims at promoting the culture of entrepreneurship and interdisciplinarity as well as the development of
innovative business projects through the contamination between different areas of studies. It spreads the concept of the
culture of entrepreneurship in the territory.
It manages and sets up high-quality training activities to develop and integrate managerial, entrepreneurial and scientific
knowledge, enhance management and problem-solving skills linked to teamwork. The Center monitors the opportunities linked
to scientific-technological know-how and business ideas.
It provides young people in the territory with a chance to improve their social skills and
use innovative tools for the presentation of their ideas in line with international standards.
Furthermore, it manages the University Incubator by promoting its membership in the
network of other business incubators.
Some of our projects
The Contamination Lab of the University of Cagliari is a place where students, graduates and PhD students coming from different fields and Universities can work together on an innovative project. The CLab promotes the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as interdisciplinarity and new learning models.
An interdisciplinary path aimed at exposing participants to a stimulating environment for the
development of innovative projects with an entrepreneurial vocation. The Contamination Lab
is not only a training course but a new way of developing innovative projects.
Participants have the opportunity to start a startup able to attract private funding. CLab aims to create the conditions for real experimentation in the creation of an entrepreneurial idea, from the idea to realization.
Intraprendiamo
The chance to have a new point of view.
Intraprendiamo brings business creation to the international level. Participants develop new ideas through an entrepreneurship course that gets them in touch with international business realities. An international exchange based on innovation and business creation that allows them to bring back home new cultural knowledge.
NEMO - Nurturing Entrepreneurial Mindset & Organizations
The added value of the local.
NEMO aims at creating new enterprises locally through an entrepreneurship course that adds value to the territory. Three steps to realize their business thanks to the support of coaches, mentors and tutors who provide them with all the technical support necessary to bring the idea to the market.
Contamination Bootcamp
Enterprises. Researchers. Startuppers.
Three different worlds together to work on a single innovative project led by the enterprise. This is the Contamination Bootcamp. Thanks to the help of an expert Venture Capitalist, they learn the lean methodologies and go through all the phases of the innovation process. A new way to help enterprises improve their work through “contamination”.
Italian CLab Network
A CLab incubator.
Italian CLab Network aims to connect the already existing Contamination Labs and promote the business creation and the creation of new CLabs in Italy. To date, CREA UniCa leads the national CLab Network.
UniCa & Imprese
Mix and match.
UniCa & Imprese wants to encourage the meeting between businesses and the UniCa community. Two different initiatives aimed at creating a network within enterprises,
researchers and students. The aim of UniCa&Imprese is to help them matching and start new collaborations.
The Community.
All the participants in CREA UniCa’s projects are welcomed into the Community CREA. A co-working place aimed at sharing know-how, help each other and grow faster. They can also join the Community accelerator program created to help them reach their goals with the support of the Community Manager and the Community as a whole.
