About the University
The Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism (FEBT), part of the University of Split, was established in 1974 and is today recognized as a prominent center for higher education and research in Croatia.
It offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs that prepare students for successful careers in an increasingly dynamic and international environment. FEBT emphasizes academic excellence, innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience through close cooperation with businesses, public institutions, and tourism organizations.
The Faculty also maintains strong international partnerships, encouraging student and staff mobility, joint research, and participation in global initiatives that foster the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
Locations and Campuses
The campus is located in a suburb of Split. However, it only takes about 26 minutes to get to the city centre by public transport.
City Life
Split is the second-largest city of Croatia after the capital Zagreb. It is the largest city in Dalmatia, largest city on the Croatian coast, and the seat of the Split-Dalmatia County. The Split metropolitan area is home to about 330,000 people. It lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and is spread over a central peninsula and its surroundings. An intraregional transport hub and popular tourist destination, the city is linked to the Adriatic islands and the Apennine Peninsula. More than 1 million tourists visit it each year.
